You can't appreciate anything fully unless you've gone some time without it. Denial is your best friend, in both its self-inflicted and externally imposed varieties. Heaven tastes a little sweeter after you've been through hell.
Conformity has fueled my dissent. Subversion is my new modus operandi. Walking the straight and narrow has lead me to some crooked paths, and I am grateful. Now I know what I have and have had and better yet what's waiting just over the horizon.
